Rodebjer Miran jersey cape dress
The princess looks glowing and radiant, lovely dress.
ReplyDeleteI don't see any glow that makeup hasn’t put there. Also when she was at Marthe wedding no one mentioned the glow because no one knew she was with child. Such a myth.
Delete@Anon 16:52 There were so many comments about what was wrong with her dress, shoes, and bra at Martha Louise's wedding that no one looked past their criticisms to see her lovely face (from a very far distance). I don't know how any changes in her skin could be detected from so far away. Google "pregnancy glow" to educate yourself. It is not a myth. BTW, her pregnancy was announced 2 September, 2024. Martha Louise's wedding was on 31 August, 2024. The fact that she was pregnant was brought up in the comments about Martha-Louise's wedding here on this blog.
DeleteBeautiful look - always classy and elegant.
DeleteAda
With so much make-up, everyone glow!
DeleteShe looks very nice, the only thing is one can't make out the total look of this dress, since it is all black.

She looks really very good. I like this black outfit. She is glowing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, Ava!
DeleteP. Sofia looks extremely classy, stylish and beautiful.
Well donne!
Why so dull?
ReplyDeleteWhat is it with the 'glow'? I don't see it. Why are pregnant women always 'glowing'. Seems to be some kind of stereotype to me. This dress is a lot of black, I mean really a lot of black. Maybe it is the cape sleeves that add just too much of black. Also the slit somehow does not work, not when standing, not when she walks. I have seen Sofia in better dresses and more becoming colours.
ReplyDeleteI don't get this glowing thing either. Implies that at all nonpregnant times, you look, well, either dull or definitely un-glowing.
DeleteI agree. She is pretty and certainly looks elegant, but I don´t see any unusual glow either. Certainly not with an outfit this somber.
DeleteWhat a difference some colour would have made! Purse and shoes were an easy option to add some colour (red? gold?). Also the tights didn´t need to be black, the nail polish didn´t need to be that dark and any lipstick in a brighter colour wouldn´t have gone amiss.
I actually like the design of the outfit, but the colour and the way it is styled gives me mourning vibes.
The glow on my face and skin told me I was pregnant even before I knew I was pregnant.
DeleteI dont get the glow either no one said she glowed at Marthe Louise wedding and she was pregnant
DeleteMaybe you Petty Bettys should understand that saying a pregnant woman is glowing is a compliment. Pregnancy glow is a real thing. Pregnant woman can get a flushed look to their skin that is due to hormones and increased blood flow. More often than not, I think people say it to express how excited they are for the woman's pregnancy and it is a way of expressing that she looks to be in good health. As I am sure you know, many women are quite ill during their pregnancies. Kate is one example of a woman that had difficult pregnancies.
DeleteAnonymous19/10/24 20:43 Yet another Anonymous hiding behind a wall calling other users who have a different opinion, who make different observations, who come to different conclusions names, while teaching them their thruth as the only truth from their high horse. Hypocrite much!
DeleteThe ladies here should take a long, and hard look at themselves. And if you call yourself Beth, Venessa, Louise or deadeggs we are just as anoymous as the one who doesn't use a nick. So can we please stop with the hypocrisy. Do you guys realise how, what should we say in a nice way this f stupid pissing on Sofias glow or not glow is? If someone thinks she's glowing. Let them. Talk about fashion instead. PS Sofia looks lovely.
DeleteI love the beautiful blue dress on the other lady. The sleeves are especially lovely. Sofia is indeed radiant, but for me her dress has a rather off-putting Morticia Addams vibe, more appropriate for an elegant Halloween-themed event. — Jane
ReplyDeleteI don't really mind the cape and the style, given that she is pregnant. Sure there are medium ways between going with a crop top over a naked belly and this one, but it is very much OK to not figure-hug when being pregnant, because what for. Something else strikes me: She has really, really strikingly beautiful forehead. To put a curtain of hair on both sides, thereby hiding it in favour of the fashionable middle part - big No from me.
ReplyDeleteA simple necklace or brooche would uplift this black dress worn by PS so much
ReplyDeleteYes that is what is missing. A nice maternity dress but a bit too dark and needs some sparkle.
DeleteThe third pic has really captured my attention.
ReplyDeleteEssential and effective wow jewellery, wonderful shade of nail polish, beautiful hands.
Sofia est bien jolie dans cette tenue noire; ravissant son petit clucht (sac) dont j'adore le fermoir mais je l'aurais bien vu dans une autre couleur !
ReplyDeleteI don’t like Princess Sofia’s outfits in the last 2 or 3 years. I think she needs a new stylist if she even has one. After their wedding she was dressed so much better. Same with her hair. I think she styles her own hair, I don’t think any hairdresser would approve these messy waves or curls or whatever this is. And I agree as it was written above these curtain bangs that she is trying for years now is not really a good fit for her (not to mention the colour!). It’s a pity because with the right outfits and better hairstyle she would be even more beautiful than she is now. Anyway, I guess this is just fashion, there are more important issues in the world, I’m aware.
ReplyDeleteLarina
Why can't she wear black ? I love her outfit. It is a beautiful dress with cape sleeves. Her hair is beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteQueen Letizia can wear black as much as she likes during Summer, Winter and almost everybody seems to like it and nobody is having mourning vibes.
When Princess Sofia wears black she receives a lot of comments on everything : her black dress, her hair, her make-up, her nail-polish. She has always been the black sheep on this blog no matter what she is wearing (so hyppocrite).
I agree with you.
DeleteTotally agrees with you; no matter what she wears she’s always criticized. If another wears the same thing, oh they looks lovely!!🙄
DeleteAnd always those critics on her hair. "Messy waves and curls". Her hair is looking better than a lot of other royal ladies with long hair.
DeletePregnant?
ReplyDeleteOf course she is. She announced it september 2.
DeleteIn my mind this is a 10/10 on Sofia; dress, shoes, makeup, hair, jewelry is perfect in my eyes! She is a sweet person and she should be treated with respect, she has also been very good to the Prince, who needed someone like her in his life.
ReplyDeleteHear, hear!
