On October 14, 2024, Japanese Princess Kako arrived in Saga Prefecture, which is hosting the 78th National Sports Festival. The Princess first visited the Saga Ceramic Museum in Arita Town. On October 15, 2024, Princess Kako attended the closing ceremony of the National Sports Festival in Saga City, southwestern Japan.

  1. Qu'elle soit vêtue de tons pastel ou d'une couleur vive, la princesse Kako est vraiment délicieuse ; là où je trouverais à redire, c'est au niveau des chaussures qui pourraient être dans un style tendance correspondant plus à une jeune fille de son âge !

I don't understand why the "powers that be" can't afford her some shoes that are *both* comfortable and respectful (in the traditional Japanese sense) while at the same time having some style and youthfulness. The young women of the imperial household always look like they're playing dress-up with grandma's shoes!

  2. I do agree with you Achard, the shoes could be more stylish, but I somehow fear that there are court restrictions even with regard to footwear. I love the bright red dress combined with the unique smile😀
