  1. Great rewear of a flexible jacket. CP Victoria looks very good

I love Victoria's look today! And she did not choose to wear a blouse or sweater underneath where the sleeves extend past the 3/4 inch sleeves of the jacket as she has done in the past. She looks polished, pretty, and professional.

Perfection — the skirt, and the jacket worn as a top, complement each other beautifully and are proportioned just right. The outfit is just soft enough to be welcoming, and just businesslike enough for the occasion. — Jane

A nice all-round jacket. Looks good with skirt and pants alike.

Somehow only Victoria can make an outfit like this turn into a old lady look. The pieces are great, but styling terrible.

I think she looks very elegant yet still approachable. I don’t see “old lady”’at all. - Grace

I think she nails it this time, a knee length skirt would have made it look more like an old lady look. And like another comment mention, it is nice that she is not using longer blouses under the jacket, so much better this way!

  7. Ravie de revoir cette veste que Victoria a l'air de beaucoup aimer en la combinant avec une jupe plissée !

  8. For me really an old lady outfit, paired with with unattractive hair styling. It could be ok with trousers and a bright color top. But it could as well go into the bag for charity donation ... Very much prefer a nice contemporary suit (with skirt or trousers).

The (re-wear) jacket looks great on CPV, but I feel the skirt is too long and wide to make the overall look nice.

Old Lady Look, Granny Look, any Victoria bashing is possible here, incredible. She is fairly young, quietly elegant and is doing her job with grace and dignity. Furthermore, she is probably giving her guest an occasion to shine, which would be a clever, diplomatic gesture. This might be what Jane meant.

She looks lovely and elegant! I don’t find that it looks like an old lady look….not at all.

While the jacket and skirt are two totally different styles and should not be worn together, I do think the jacket is great and looks very pretty on her. Just wish she would have worn it with a straight, plain skirt.
