On Tuesday, October 1, the Swedish Cancer Society launched its 2024 Pink Ribbon campaign. For the sixteenth consecutive year, Crown Princess Victoria has become the Patron of the campaign, which runs throughout October. The Swedish Cancer Society's Pink Ribbon campaign aims to raise money for cancer research, increase awareness of the disease, and stimulate debate. The funds raised are allocated to the best research projects through national competition, regardless of the type of cancer.
The Sami textile artist Britta Marakatt-Labba designed this year's Pink Ribbon and Bracelet. With the ribbon, Britta aims to show that life is fragile but also to inspire hope. A thin red thread runs along the ribbon, symbolizing the blood in our veins, and at one point, the thread breaks, only to be picked up again. The yellow color on the ends represents hope and research.
Wonderful photo of a wonderful lady!
ReplyDeleteVictoria a eu la bonne idée de ressortir de son écrin à bijoux ces boucles d'oreilles ; elle a ce même modèle de couleur verte !
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice, simple look on Victoria. I like the added messaging on the pink ribbon. Very well thought out.
ReplyDeleteThanky you, Victoria for supporting Rosa Bandet!
ReplyDeleteVictoria looks great here--the GOAT sweater top is a classic style that can flatter anyone and it is perfect on Victoria. She is also wearing one of my favorite pair of earrings from her jewelry box! Love that she is wearing both the pin and bracelet to show additional support for her cause.

DeleteThe pink ribbon is made by a same!
ReplyDeleteI think CP Victoria is lovely - but why always the rather severe hairstyle? A nice soft bob would suit her.
ReplyDeleteI believe she, like me, has unruly hair. The amount of time and hair product it takes to get a smooth bob that then only looks good for an hour, it just isn't worth the trouble.

Because she likes it that way? Because she may have frizzy hair that is difficult to style? Because she does not want to spend an hour each morning to get her hair done? Because she wants it out of her face? Because she......Did I already say: because she likes it?
DeleteBeth wouldn't hurt if she changed it up once in a while. She was able to do it before so what changed?
DeleteThis is Victoria gtting of a plan after a 10 hour plane trip, so I rest my case. https://image.svenskdam.se/image-9532682?imageId=9532682&width=1320&height=1323&format=webp&cropw=100&croph=100&x=0&y=0&compression=70

CP Victoria looks good in that beautiful cashmere sweater with the pink ribbon campaign accessories. I always like her in her clean line pieces. She's a truly striking woman
