Queen Silvia of Sweden is visiting Germany to attend the opening of the Berlin Childhood House. Queen Silvia was welcomed by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin. Then, the Queen attended a round table meeting with Elke Büdenbender, at Bellevue Palace. The event was held to mark the 25th anniversary of the World Childhood Foundation, which Queen Silvia co-founded in 1999 with the mission of helping children at risk of sexual abuse and violence.
Polished, elegant, and so lovely! Queen Silvia looks wonderful here. I am experiencing major hair envy here--great styling today.

Very attractive hairdo on the Queen--soft, wavy, and feminine. The only suggested change is to cut the hair on the crown of the head so it isn't quite so high.
ReplyDeleteI think that the hair fuller on the top was the look the hairdresser was going for!
DeleteI love Sylvia's jacket and also the neckline of whatever it is she is wearing under it. I wish we could get model photos of both. Her hair looks full and healthy.

What a perfect jacket, in fit and print
ReplyDeleteThe jacket is splendid, beautiful colors and design on the fabric, lovely fit. The black dress looks fabulous. But the pearl necklace, oh divine, beautiful shades of grey and white. The pearl earrings are a generous size, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStylish as always.
ReplyDeleteQS looks wonderful; the jacket could have done without the brooch
ReplyDeleteNice wig she is wearing.
ReplyDeleteProbably. How many 80yo women have so much hair on top? And have we EVER seen even ONE occasion where Silvia has roots showing (unlike with other royal ladies)? I can't recall any over the decades. But... her hair/wig does suit her in these photos. ~~Ruthie
DeleteSilvia looks great but the first lady of Germany, sorry, pitiful sight.
ReplyDeletePants, from 1960's, blouse, from second hand store, thrift store.
Doesn't she have a stylist?
Exceptionally poor taste.
Although I am sure the clothes did not come from a thrift store I agree with you the First lady of Germany is not looking her best. She usually dresses very stylish!
Delete21.24, kein Grund, so unhöflich zu sein. The Bundespräsidents wife pays for her wardrobe. The blouse is from Boss, would have been nicer with a blazer, thats all. anna e.
DeleteAgree to Anna E. Be kind and remember, that the wife of a Bundespräsident does not have a budget for dresses. And by the the way she is working as a judge again, also ein voller Terminkalender!
DeleteNice looking outfit. css
