On August 23, 2024, Princess Marie of Denmark attended the opening of the Copenhagen Cooking 2024 food festival at Flæsketorvet in Kødbyen, Copenhagen. Copenhagen Cooking is an annual food festival that takes place in the heart of Denmark's vibrant capital. The festival was started in 2004 by Wonderful Copenhagen. This year, Copenhagen Cooking celebrates its 20th anniversary. Princess Marie is Patron of Copenhagen Cooking Festival.

    Je suis ravie de voir la princesse Marie assistant à l'ouverture de ce festival qui fait partie d'un de ses centres d'intérêt ; sur la première photo, je remarque qu'Athéna lui ressemble de plus en plus !

      C"est vrai, Athéna n'apparaît pas sur ces photos mais sur d'autres vues plus récemment sur le site, cela se remarque vraiment !

    I never understand the kind of events she attends, they sound so random, plus are they working royals or not? Does anyone knows exactly how the work is divided in een the Danish Royal House?

      Her husband works and lives with his family in Washington, DC
      During the holidays they are regularly in Denmark. In the introduction of these pictures it says that Princess Marie is Patron of Copenhagen food festival. I think it is really not of our business to know exactly how the "work" is divided in the Danish Royal Family. In their private life maybe the children will visit their grandmother Q. Margrethe at Château de Cayx (Cahors) in France, where she spends her holidays. Maybe Princess Marie being of French origin will visit her family too. What they do in their private life is not of our business either, we can only guess.
