On August 22, 2024, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain had dinner at La Lonja del Mar, located in Plaza de Oriente in central Madrid, after their summer vacation. This restaurant, situated in front of the Royal Palace of Madrid, offers fish and seafood dishes freshly prepared throughout the day.

    I love that a king and queen can visit their local fish restaurant, but it must be so tiring knowing that each time you exit back to the street people will be taking photos and filming. - Grace

      No paparazzi, people in the street, you can see them out and about Madrid, lots of times. The restaurant is not private

      I agree Anon 7:49. The restaurant is not private and if you hold the title of king/queen and you go out to eat...expect pics to be taken.

    J'aime beaucoup cet ensemble, pantalon blanc et chemise blanche, c'est simple, frais, léger, et en même temps ça reste chic. Pas besoin de volants, de dentelle, de fleurs, pas de chichis. Sobre.
    C'est parfait, la tenue idéale pour l'été. 10/10. Paloma.

    Love Letizia's casual style on a night out with Felipe. The white linen pants and blouse are comfortable and perfect for a summer evening in Madrid. It's lovely to see both enjoying shopping, a movie or a night out like everyone else. It's becoming almost normal to see them in Madrid somewhere :)

      It isn't formal it is one of the last days of their holidays. The king is not dressed formal too. What is remarkable is that people appreciate the casual dressing of the king and queen.
