On July 11, King Carl Gustaf presented the 2024 Solliden Prize to botanist Ulla-Britt Andersson during a ceremony held at Solliden Palace on Öland. The King was accompanied by Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria, who were dressed in traditional Öland folk costumes for the ceremony. During the ceremony at Solliden Palace, Swedish artist Adée performed.

ReplyDeleteIn general I don't like traditional suits or dresses. Look at the last picture how old Queen Silvia looks all of a sudden. And then those thick black stockings and shoes that look like men's shoes of the 18th century.
