It's wonderful that QM regularly surprises us with non-standard colour combinations. This dress shows off her figure beautifully and the overall styling is good.

What a beautiful variety of clothing QM showed us during this 4-day working visit to the US. In my opinion, she looked fantastic almost every day. Her hair was styled beautifully and the mood was sunny and engaged as always; 10/10

I believe this is a rewear, but love the pop of colours. Carolina has such beautiful designs

😅. So relieved that Queen Maxima is not the wearer of the green trouser suit with the short trousers and ugly shoes which was what I thought before opening the post. This dress is a stunning mix of colours, which I’d never consider, but it looks brilliant on Queen Maxima

An unusual choice for Maxima; I think the dress would have looked better at the longer length as on the model, and with a smaller bow at the waist or no bow at all, though something is needed at the seam where the 2 colours meet. It's hard to tell from the one photo how she has styled that area. Still, nice to see her wearing another designer outside of her usual choices.

I've always had a high regard for WA and Maxima but my respect for them has increased to sky high levels after watching their interactions with the youth in Albany over climate change and sustainable energy resources. They are so engaged and encouraging, listening to what the young people had to say and expanding the conversations. Do try to watch just a few minutes of these interviews if you can, available online.

I've enjoyed this working visit of the Dutch Royals very much both from the fashion aspect as well as the content of their visit.

Lovely outfits the entire trip. It was interesting to hear about the collaborations; tech and water. Christine

  11. Love this one! Is such a summers look, but I'm not sure everyone could pull it off, her tall frame definitely helps.
And today in the Northern part of the Netherlands, Maxima attended a sail festival, we missed for 30 minutes, it would have been unbelievable to see her twice, in a week time, in two different continentes!

Excellent color combination on the Queen. It fits her beautifully. Hopefully that outrageous bow is NOT on the back of her dress. Herrerra could have left that detail off the design and it would have been fine.

  14. This dress is superb. I just love the color combination, works beautifully. I do however prefer the length of the model's dress, I even like the oversized bow at the waist!. Queen Maxima does have the height to wear the dress at this length, all personal taste though. She has a red bag, but I am not sure what color her shoes are, pink or red? A most beautiful and memorable appearance by the Queen.

How lucky Queen Maxima had made the dress to her length and not as long as on the model. I have seen better and more pictures on other sites. The red accessories are a good choice to go with the dress. I have not been able to see a picture of her back, maybe there is no bow, but just a piece of red fabric in her waist.

Queen Maxima looks beautiful in this bright and colorful dress from Carolina Herrera. I am so happy she chose to have the dress shortened as longer version featured would have been too over the top for a daytime event. I'm also very happy to see she resisted the huge bow! Again--her wardrobe has been perfect and perhaps one of her best for a royal visit ever.
