Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden are on a four-day official visit to California. On the last day of their visit, February 22, the Crown Princess couple attended a conference at Nordic Innovation House in Palo Alto, where enhanced cooperation between Sweden and California was discussed.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, the Swedish Minister and the Swedish business delegation, as well as representatives from the academia and industry, gathered for this Green Transition Summit which aimed to deepen the cooperation relating to the green transition. During the conference organized by Business Sweden, the Crown Princess gave a speech.
Zara lapelless fitted blazer and trousers
Le vert tendre de ce tailleur/pantalon bien ajusté convient à ravir à Victoria ; bon choix que ce foulard de la même couleur de fond où nous pouvons remarquer différentes races de chiens !
ReplyDeleteVictoria wears a charming colourful suit for this working visit. These kind of suits are wonderful for her. But I would love her to change the model of her hair for once. It's boring and it makes her look so strict
ReplyDeleteI usually try to refrain from comments about a woman's choice in fashion or hairdo or looks, but I must admit that you are on top of it. Crown Princess Victoria does suit bright colours, whether it's a pants suit or a skirts or dresses. Her hair style is quite harsh with it mostly being of a slicked, tight bun or ponytail. It's rare to see her with it out + flowing loosely. Given she has a strong protruding lower jaw + chin line, some soft wisps of hair might soften her features a bit more. She is an attractive woman with a promising future ahead for when she does become the Queen of Sweden. Her daughter, Princess Estelle, is growing up with such grace, style, maturity, whilst still being grounded. Given she isn't a teenager yet + is aware of her predetermined future, she handles formal events with astonishing maturity. I love it when we see Estelle + her mother having a casual loving bonding moment. Likewise with young Prince Oscar, he is a sweetie. Last year he attended an outdoor concert, aged 5-6, + he began with sitting up attentively, looking so handsome in his suit (no tie) + within 20 minutes of the concert, he had slouched in the chair, with the most bored expression ever. The faces he pulled were reminiscent of young Prince Louis. The difference being, the Swedish Media + Public, completely accepted his non-interest + his facial expressions + restlessness as being normal, natural, regular behaviour for a youngster, without any headlines or judgements of labelling him as rude, cheeky, misbehaving etc.Its a shame the Media + Public that comment on either George, Charlotte or Louis, didn't learn from the Swedish + the Danish Media + Public.
DeleteThis is nice and Zara brand seems to fit her well. I am just a bit disappointed to se basically the same outfit during these days despite different colors. Monochrome suite, shirt with open collar and scarf.
ReplyDeleteMonochrome means the same color for suit, shirt, scarf, shoes which is not the case here. The pant suit is emerald green, the shirt is white, the shoes are black and the scarf is green & white & black & brown. This was not a state visit but a business trip. I think she is well dressed. Upon arrival in California the weather was bad, now it is better. She cannot bring her entire dressing room with her for 4 days.
DeleteHow come no-one is complaining about Daniel's monochrome suits... Men have it so much easier fashionwise too! 😊

Scarf no, suit yes.
ReplyDeleteAnother bright and vivid pantsuit for Victoria. I like the emerald colour and the style. The lack of lapels can allow for lots of options like bows or turtlenecks.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good on her. I even like the scarf because it adds some interest & contrast.
I agree with your comments but I don't like the trouser style of this suit as much as the others. Still, it's a good colour and the CP looks good.
DeleteShe’s looking lovely in green; pretty scarf too.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteI think the Zara suits should be passed on now along with her inexpensive costume jewelry. I'd like to see her dressing in much better quality clothing eg Hugo Boss, Max Mara etc. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteHa - I’m opposite! I love that she’s spending less, dressing simpler, perhaps making herself more relatable by doing so (?), especially given the number of rewears is fairly minimal versus an ordinary person. - AnneLise
DeleteIf you didn't know the brands would you be able to assess the quality?
Deletetotally agree. this suit looks cheap tailoring.
DeleteShe has both. Just like Queen Letizia she wears a lot of brands of her own country. She also has more expensive clothes. She is a young woman and likes to wear modern clothes and jewelry. She is wearing the real thing when she has to be dressed formal on national events.
DeleteHugo Boss and Max Mara are German brands and what if they don't fit her ? Max Mara has beautiful clothes but is looking the best on very tall woman. Hugo Boss can be better, I don't know. The Scandinavian brands she is wearing are also of good quality (and I don't mean H & M). As a CP she has to wear clothes of Swedish designers too.
DeleteI agree completely! Her clothes can look inexpensive and not adult enough. She has a few good pieces, but it seems appropriate to bring in more quality fabrics and custom tailoring given her position and resources.
DeleteMax Mara is an italian brand. About the quality of garments, indeed we don‘t see differences here in the pictures, but in „real life“ we would see and feel it. I can imagine, that dresses and suits are customized a bit. anna e.

Delete1)Maybe she will do that when she will be queen
2) "Given her position and resources". I presume a crown princess has other costs to pay for than clothes alone. If she has children and have to pay for them from the same budget, she must be a good housekeeper or have a good accountant. We all know how expensive children can be until they are adult.
A wardrobe of professional looking clothing. Very nice. Christine
ReplyDeleteBeautiful green pantsuit, love the color and fit of this ensemble. The colorful silk scarf is a welcome addition, she looks splendid.
ReplyDeleteShe wears the suit very well and is better with heels rather than the short boots she had earlier, this scarf is not disturbing.
ReplyDeleteAgain, a very nice suit also great color. The heels are high. Hope she can walk well with them. I am sure she is happy to be back home again, since Estelle has her 12th Birthday today. css
ReplyDeletePrince Daniel shouldn't cross his arms so much, closed body language, could mean he dosnt want to be there. Princess Victoria looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same, I think he does it explicitly when pictures are taken.
DeleteLove, love, love this green suit on Victoria! Its a great fit and color. She doing the princess business professional look perfectly. The scarf is a good addition because it adds color and flair but also helps Victoria avoid the need to wear anything else like jewelry (odd idea I know but jewelry can sometimes be too distracting, fussy, or just plain get in the way).
ReplyDeleteJanet
I wonder if Princess Victoria chose the colour to fit in with the theme of the event, that is, The Green Transition Summit.
ReplyDeleteAs this has been announced as a working visit, does anybody know if there’ll be some sort of dinner or special event for the final evening.?
I found a schedule of their trip and it appears to be just business, business, business.
DeleteThere is a short video on You Tube showing Princess Victoria seated at a conference where she is having trouble keeping her eyes open.
Understandable, about a 7 hour time change, long flight and straight into business meetings.
One of their meetings was a breakfast meeting/conference.
She has those shoes again; impossible to walk naturally
ReplyDeleteI think this suit fits her very necely, it isn't baggy and adjusts perfectly to her fit body. And the shoes are perhaps too high, but adequate. But I would go for a two color suit, without the scarfs, and with a simple pendent.
ReplyDeleteThis like her other business suits is professional and tidy. This attire is perfect for going about your business. The fact that’s it’s Zara is relatable. In this time, the royals need to be seen as not spending too much on clothes. Obviously you’ll always have royals that do lean towards the luxury brands, but on the whole I think it prudent that they are mindful of costs and optics.
ReplyDeletegrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
DeleteSomeone wants a new job as a stewardess 🤭
ReplyDeleteWhat is a stewardess? :))
Delete@Anon 16:06 A female flight attendant.

@Anonymous24/2/24 13:26___My saying, thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteWhy is it that most articles about any Woman within a Royal Family, be it from Spain, Sweden, Denmark, England etc that the write-ups tend to focus more on what they are wearing - the Label, the Jewelery, hair style, shoes etc. yet, when it comes to a Man within a Royal Family, very little is said. The focus is on the event or the issues. In this case, Prince Daniel is more just the companion on Tour, as opposed to him presenting or discussing issues. He is a great support, a consort if you will. They seem like a lovely couple, who have a very strong bond with both of their children-Princess Estelle (12 today) + little Prince Oscar (5-6). Estelle + Oscar are a delight whenever they attend functions. Estelle seems to cope well with both formal + informal events. Oscar reacts in the way one would expect any 5-6 yr old - enjoys certain elements, is shy at times, energetic at others, or completely bored + restless. The positive thing about both children is the Swedes totally accept the children's changing behaviours as being normal + they don't get criticized in the papers or judged. Nor they should. Let's hope that one day, the Media + Public will be just as accepting of all of the children within the British Royal Family, from Savannah down to Ernest : the eldest + youngest of the late Queens great-grandchildren + all in-between..
ReplyDeleteAnd what do you want to tell us?
Delete@Pollyanna: I'm confused and not sure what your point is/are above, but (to me) this is a fashion blog focusing primarily on royal womens fashions as per the wish of the blog owner. Hence all the details about the clothes and the accessories. There are other blogs I'm sure that include the male partner and the children in a more general discussion.

Prince Oscar will be 8 years next week ( 2 March).

@ Pollyanna: You are sooooo rigth, this is NOT NOT NOT a fashion blog focusing primarily on royal womens fashions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteWhy doesn’t she get Keratin treatment? I have hair like hers. It is the answer. Expensive but it works. Bet Princess of Wales gets it. Weird she isn’t doing it. Her hair would be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMade my day:)
DeleteSorry, but VICTORIA looks like a stewardess;)
