On November 2, 2023, Charlotte Casiraghi, Princess Caroline’s daughter, received Vanity Fair's Person of the Year Award 2023 at the Real Alcazar in Seville, Spain. The Spanish edition of the magazine Vanity Fair has chosen to reward Charlotte Casiraghi for her contribution to the arts and her commitment to women’s empowerment.
Chanel embroidered washed silk cotton satin dress
Like her mother, Charlotte Casiraghi is a natural elegant Beauty!
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the outfit, I don't have a clear enough full view. But Charlotte herself is radiant, very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJoli le haut imprimé fleuri de cette robe Chanel dont la jupe est fendue latéralement ; son rouge à lèvres fuschia a une couleur plus soutenue mettant en valeur le reste de son maquillage !
ReplyDeletePure elegance, in all senses.
ReplyDeleteThey all look always (a bit) unhappy… I know, this is not about fashion, but this is what I see, al the time. And alle the Grimaldi-women are beautiful….
ReplyDeleteYes I’ve noted that over many years - we don’t often see real joy in the photos of Grimaldis, except in Albert who generally smiles across his public engagements. But as per all small glimpses into the life of famous people, it’s hard to know if the pouts/unsmilingness is a choice in public (to not give away their whole personality, to stay guarded, etc) or whether there’s long term unsmilingness due to unhappiness.
DeleteCharlotte is chick in this dress, I wish i could see more of it especially the side, she don't move her arms. css
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress. To me it looks as if the flowers are appliqués. If so it is a stunning piece of handicraft.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress and Charlotte looks wonderful--but I really hate her hair. Sorry, but that slicked down comb-over is too harsh.
ReplyDeleteJanet
Maybe I missed a few issues of the magazine. But what has this woman done for the women’s empowerment? Did she wear Chanel dresses? Come on, let's be serious! Irene
ReplyDeleteI love the embroidered bodice of her dress. Don't like her hair the way she did it. Rose
ReplyDeleteI don't like the hair styling.
ReplyDeleteEh, she and her siblings aren’t royal and are nobodies
ReplyDeleteThe Casiraghis are the children of a hereditary princess. They are very much royal. They are close direct bloodline decendants of a royals and are listed in the formal line to the Monagasque throne, proving bloodline is stronger than title. Kate Middleton, now that is someone who is not royal. If William divorces her, she's out, and she has never or will never have a place in the line to the throne. The Casiraghis were in line to the throne the day they were born. They don't have titles because their mother didn't want them to have one, but they could have. Just as Anne, Princess Royal, of Britain's children, Peter and Zara, don't have titles, they are royal AF, just the like the Casiraghi trio. The Casiraghis are also the grandchildren of a ruling prince and a legendary beautiful Hollywood actress with billions of dollars available to them, not to mention they are "Hollywood royalty" as well, even if that is just a euphemism, it gives them mad social ups. Nice try at equating them to you.
DeleteThey aren't Royals but they aren't exactly "nobodies" either. As nieces and nephews of the reigning Prince, they are members of the Prince's extended family.
ReplyDeleteThey are the children of the hereditary princess and direct descendants of Prince Ranier, the late ruler. Their bloodline and lineage makes them royal, and the House of Grimaldi is one of the oldest in the world.
