  1. The outfits aren't exactly bad, but I know for sure that I wouldn't wear any of them.
    The lilac color of Letizia's costume is beautiful, but if there's one thing I hate, it's the ankle-length pants. The Leonor shirt dress looks more like a luxurious bathrobe. Today, Spanish ladies do not coordinate - each has a different style of clothing.

    1. Ankle-length pants are ok for me, for summer.

  2. Not the best look by all three Spanish female royals today.

  3. Sofia is best dressed for me here. Simple and class.

  6. Trois styles différents mais je préfère la combinaison en tweed de Sofia ; légèrement plus longue, elle serait parfaite !

  7. Today Infanta Sofia wins it for me. if she had even a small heel, the outfit would be perfect. I love the colour of Queen Letizia’s trouser suit but the shirt trousers spoil it (and in the group photos make her feet look huge, which we know they’re not). Struggling to find a positive for CP Leonor. Outfit is a nice colour?

  8. I like the pink dress, for me I would of pushed the sleeves up like the model. Princess Sophia’s dress fits but for some reason it looks out of proportion on her. Can put my finger on why.

  9. Is not Leonor's dress the one Letizia wore recently? Anyway, how grown-up she looks...Beautiful colours for beautiful ladies!

  10. I don’t normally find shirt type dresses particularly glamorous but I think Leonor is a knockout in this particular pink and this style. (Although I’d love to see her feeling free to continue to wear the flat shoes both girls have worn until recently because I care about foot health and heels are really not good for any feet!) - AnneLise

  11. Nice color for Leonor, the dress is nothing special. I like Sofias dress, but even for her age a tad too short. css

  12. Agree with Stephanie above. Nothing really bad, but nothing quite right either.
    The lack of coordination bothers me a bit, the styles are so different, the two shades of pink clash big-time.
    Individually, I think Sofia looks best here. The style is classic, the colour is nice. Sofia can wear that length of skirt, but it needs a longer top to go with it. (Golden rule of balance: Either wear everything at regular length, or short skirt + longer top, or longer skirt + short top. If both top and bottom are short it will look wrong, as will long top with long bottom).
    Leonor looks nice in that colour, and I even like the fabric, but the dress is the totally wrong length. Wrong for her age, looks jarring relative to Sofia´s miniskirt and most of all wrong for that style of dress as inevitably looks like a bathrobe now. The dress really needed to be knee length. Also, I don´t understand the mid-skirt horizontal seam with the slight ruffle.
    Lastly, Letizia. The colour is good, the jacket is alright. I don´t like the cut of the trousers, and certainly not with heels. I think that the whole outfit is a poor choice for a reception. This is business casual. She needed something more festive and evening style for the occasion.

  13. An off day at the Spanish court:
    Q.L: wrong colour;
    Leonor : wrong dress;
    Sophie: wrong hemline,

  14. I disagree that Leonor's dress is made for women much older than her. I think it's a fun and romantic dress for a 17 year old Princess, very princessy and on an older woman the pink with the flower appliqué would look ridiculous!
    My favourite is Sofia's dress, not too short, she is a teenager!! But funny how people always say Leonor's dresses are too long and Sofia's too short, so basically unless a teenager's dress hits right above the knee, people won't like it...
    Letizia's pink pantsuit looks fantastic, but I think for this elegant occasion it would have been better to wear long trousers rather than ankle length.

  15. Infanta Sofia looks beautiful, love this outfit.
    Queen Letizia looks fabulous in her pantsuit, don't like the ankle length though.
    Leonor, the dress is okay.

  17. I love Letizia's suit. Leonor's dress is lovely, but indeed more for someone older. Sophia's outfit does not fit and is very oldfashioned.

  18. Can't say exactly what it is but all three outfits strike as a bit off. QLet's trousers might look better had they been full length. Leonor's dress is pretty but I hate that belt but I also feel the dress is better in person. Sofia's is cute and teenager perfect but the higher waist is not as flattering for her--wish it was a tad longer in the waist but I don't think the dress is too short. Hope whatever has happened to KFel's hand or arm resolves quickly and he recovers soon.

  19. Leonor's dress is well chosen. She is balancing military training and official responsibilities. There is something about Sophia's outfit that looks off, but I will just go w/the conservative comment that maybe she didn't straighten it when she stood up.

  20. I like Leonor's dress. I don't know the last time any of you tried to dress a teenager for an "event" or pick out dresses that are considered "age appropriate", but they don't exist. They are short like Sophia wears, and most would consider unsuitable for a future queen. This poor girl doesn't have many choices. All the young crown princesses go through this awkward stage. I'm not sure what is expected from any of them.

  21. I agree with those that said Leonor's dress looks like a fancy bathrobe. She seems to have an eclectic taste in clothes which will make things interesting for Spanish royal watchers. You can't say she is boring. I do like the classic look of Sofia's outfit but I wish it was a few inches longer. Even though she is a young girl with good legs it's more elegant to cover up the knees.
