As patron of Det Nationale Sorgcenter, Crown Princess Mary attended the Danish National Center for Grief's 20th anniversary conference at the Royal Danish Playhouse in Copenhagen. The Danish National Center for Grief was founded in the year 2000. The National Center for Grief is a part of Bereavement Network Europe.
The Danish National Center for Grief offers free counseling to anyone who has lost a parent, a sibling, a child or spouse, or people who are relatives of people suffering from severe physical illness. The volunteers manage national helpline "Griefline" and peer-to-peer support groups. They also arrange social events such as cafe nights for bereaved young people.

Very elegant!
ReplyDeleteA nice colour for the suit, and I also like the blouse very much.
And the bag and the shoes!
What a lady!
Nice costume, amazing pumps and blouse, nice glasses, makeup. But I don't like her handbag. The handbag that the model has in her hands is more suitable.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an amazing charity, very useful.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a surprise !
ReplyDeleteMary is wearing glasses and she looks stunning.
The petrol green Valentino rockstud pumps are to die for.
Perfect.
I love this suit and outfit- minus the purse (harkens me back to Queen Max’s huge belt:)).
ReplyDeleteWhat a special place for Mary, who was just a young lady of 25 when her Mom died, to participate.

Princess Mary seems so affected. It must be very difficult to give remarks on such a difficult and probably personal subject. My genuine accolades for a difficult job well done.
ReplyDeleteOn a fashion note I think she hit it out of the park here. I love me a deep green and well tailored suiting. The cream blouse pairs perfectly and these Valentino Rock Stud pumps do as well. I wasn't aware they came in deep green. My only quibble? Not sure if I like the slouchy black sac. Everything else is so polished this purse doesn't really contribute to the look. She seems to have gotten a haircut and I like the shorter length. To me it would be even lovelier if the entire haircut was the length of her shorter layers in front. I love me a long bob (à la Queen Letizia).
Perhaps this is an occasion when she needed a bigger bag?
DeleteCertainly. My issue isn't with the size of the bag. It's its unstructured nature in contrast to her polished ensemble. In my opinion, this bag would work better with a boho dress or perhaps casual jeans.
Delete@Anna
DeleteAgreed.
This subject must have been difficult and painful to deal with for her.
Very nice outfit. I also like her glasses.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it may have been an emotional talk for Mary. (She could have had a runny nose as well.) She spoke of losing her mother so young, as she has done in the past, in the hopes of helping others. Most notably for me is are the glasses. I don't know that I have seen her wearing glasses before. She looks really nice in them. Her suit looks like a similar color to a coat she has worn recently that was so attractive on her. I notice how different Mary looks wearing this suit than Victoria would look in the same suit and blouse. The difference is all in the hair. The soft hairstyle worn down makes this outfit look so different than it would on Victoria.
ReplyDeleteShe lost her mother in her twenties I think, due to heart complications, and it was a very difficult time for her. I'm glad Mary supports an important resource for those grieving . Like her glasses and suit.
ReplyDeleteTotally agreed.
DeleteAgreed. Bravo.
DeleteVery nice green suite - I love this shade of green; like a forest green. I like the cut of the pants - pants leg not to tight and or too short! Love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteHard engagement and she seems to have gotten very emotional. Good for here for not shying away from her feelings.

The whole ensemble looks good but in particular I like Mary's sleek hair style. And the eyeglasses really suits her. -Siri
ReplyDeleteLa coupe de cheveux est originale ,plus courte à droite cela ,allège son allure .
ReplyDeleteProchaine étape, les deux côtés raccourcis .
There you go with that positivity again.
DeleteI highly doubt it is shorter on one side. She has her hair tucked behind her ear. Why on earth should she shorten it further?
DeleteBeautiful tailored outfit, the shoes are divine. She looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteMary looks very moved. Fantastic from head to toe. Great suit and evergreen is a fantastic color on Mary. Valentino's rockstar pumps are classic and the studs add a fun detail. Her blow-out is sleek and shiny. Like the glasses and they match the suit.
ReplyDeleteE.B.B.
Like her suit and eye glasses. She was moved.
ReplyDeleteI think CP Mary has done a great job rep Denmark and rarely put a foot wrong.
Like the outfit a lot. Well chosen for the occasion.
DeleteThe glasses change her look.
She is a brave lady who seems to have retained her natural emotions.
So a tear or two from time to to time is normal.
She is going to make an outstanding Queen.
How refreshing to see a royal with some emotions. If only other royals would not consider it a flaw in their character. I agree, she will be an outstanding queen.
DeleteAgreed with you and Deadeggs.
DeleteImpeccable as always !
ReplyDeleteAnd I need the info on the glasses too!

Très belle allure dans ce tailleur/pantalon dont la couleur lui va vraiment bien ; j'aime beaucoup le style des lunettes. J'envie ses superbes escarpins cuir et vernis ?!

ReplyDeleteWonderful outfit--beautiful trouser suit, (CP Victoria, please take note of the difference made by full length trousers) in a great colour, nice blouse and fabulous shoes. Crown Princess Mary looks great in glasses--lucky her--I hate mine!--and her hair is fantastic too. Superb
ReplyDeleteA beautiful classy lady not afraid to show her feelings,Frederick hit the jackpot when he met her.
ReplyDeleteMary looks so good with the glasses. There are so many stylish frames to choose from and these look so lovely.
ReplyDeleteAlso this trouser suit was great choice; style, color and fit are really flattering.
👍👍👍👍👍

She always looks amazing in a suit. Plus, I love that it isn't a basic black one, the deep color is beautiful. Those Rockstud pumps are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteChel
Lovely well-taylored outfit. Especially like the blouse, not too over the top, just a hint of detail/flow.
ReplyDeleteI love the hip style of the Lady-in-waiting
