She always wears too big dresses.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is fine, good colour, but I don't understand the cardigan which dumbs down the whole look.
ReplyDeleteSophie has done this before--plopped a suburban sweater over a potentially smart outfit and brought down the whole look. However, I do like this bright, clear red on her and her necklace is interesting--would like to see it in a bit more detail.
ReplyDeleteThe Royals seem to like red,she is not the only one, it looks very good on her, maybe a short Blazer would have done more, then a cardigan.
ReplyDeleteI like the cardigan. It doesn´t "dumb down" the look in my view, but makes it a bit more day-appropriate and tones down the glam a bit. I think the dress is not too big, but the skirt is a bit too full to be a daydress, and the low back also says cocktail dress to me, so the cardigan was a necessary addition to make it work as business-suitable day attire.
ReplyDeleteShe is one of the hardworker lady in the royal family, like the dress but not the cardigan.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress spoiled by boring cardigan.
ReplyDeleteShe looks very good. I like also her cardigan, makes it look very English.
ReplyDeleteCountess Sophie of Wessex looks very wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNothing says elegant and classy like a modest dress. Well done!
