  3. There must be differences between countries but I keep Valentine´s Day as a day of couples and intimate relationships, I do not want to connect little kids to it really.

    1. Valentine's Day means celebrating love, adore and affection, this day also include non-intimate relationships. Or aren't parents supposed to love their kids? Or siblings (little or adults) have good and loving relationship? I'd be very hurt if my parents or brother wouldn't love me or vice versa. People who come from loving home are more likely to find love and happiness when they are adults.
Not all loving relationships are intimate, you know! Most people are lucky enough to have at least several pure and non-sexual loves in their lives. So why we shouldn't celebrate it on February 14? When else we should celebrate?? What's wrong in connecting kids to the celebrating of relationship and love? We want them to be happy and loved or we don't?

  4. Blondiini in Sweden we often think of family too at Valentine's day like send a card or a txt msg to our parents or other close ones. It's also a couple thing but it doesn't exclude a valentine wish to someone else too.

    1. Valentine's day is for everyone. In Canada, we celebrate love in general. On this day, I tell people to rethink their way of loving each other and stop judging people.

  6. In Finland it's cold "the friend's day" so it's different in different countries. But the day remember us to show love in some way
