ReplyDeleteBeautiful and elegant outfit. She carries herself well on her first solo trip abroad, but why is it that she looks so much older than her age? She is only 34, but she looks 20 years older. Is it the combination of heavy make-up, haircolor, choiche of jewelry? I don't know, but it keeps surprising me.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree! There's a problem with her haircolor, hairstyle and heavy make-up. She doesn't need to seem older as she do.

ReplyDeleteGenerally speaking I agree a lady always should dress age appropriately but that is more of a rule to be remembered by elderly women who put on mini skirts, tight leather pants and tops that should rather be called underwear - and not for younger ones like Kate. Some people just like clothes that are normally considered to be an older generation's "turf" or conservative pieces. I mean, reasonably speaking, I don't mean if she'd put on one of the Princess Royal's fashion concoctions from the eighties. Though most of those were questionable choices to begin with...
Although I don't like Katherine way of dressing most of the time, I must admit this looks lovely. Nice cut, nice colour, appropriate hair. Well done..

ReplyDeleteCriticism, how old the Duchess look hair like helmet. Pity the people behind these comments don't see the most stylish and beautiful range of photos of the Duchess on the Duchess website. She is absolute stunning. Her hair style is chic and healthy. She is sparkling and gorgeous. The suite reminds me of the one of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.

ReplyDeleteThe suit is a pretty colour and it should be flattering, however I have to agree Kate looks much older than her age. I am not sure what it is, I have wondered if it was her hair hanging down in an untidy fashion that was dragging her features down aging her prematurely, however in these photos her hair is neatly arranged, so it is obviously not her hair, but something is not quite right.
ReplyDeleteI think it is the heavy hand of too much foundation. Plus perhaps the wrong foundation. She may need to change her make up. I have noticed at times it seems to much and wrong shade.
DeleteHer makeup is too heavy and ages her. This has been a problem for years. She will not let go of the heavy black liner around her eyes that she used when she was in her 20s. Agree with Diane that foundation color is off.

Very cool that she visited King WA at his house. Too bad Maxima wasn't home with the kids. Would have been a very nice gathering probably.
