Wow princess Madeleine is the mother of two small kids,Sofia isn't. Madeleine's husband has to work for a living,Sofia's doesn't. Sofia and Carl Phillp live from the taxpayers,Chris and madde don't. Off course she likes the princess role completely, why do you think she married him. Sofia lives is Sweden ,princess Madeleine doesn't anymore. So yes that's why she attend more events than Madeleine on the moment
Sofia has always loved attention (think of all those photoshoots, reality shows etc she has previously done), then I'd say that its not suprising that she's so visible now that she's the princess. She certainly seems to love spotlight. Madeleine seems like a person who likes privacy and now that she has 2 small kids, then its understandable that she spends more time with her family...but I sincerely hope that she's going back to her royal duties soon. Really miss her. Take care, Miranda
She is radiant‼ The haters can get stuffed coz we all have a past. Sofia is trying her best and so far is doing very well. Good luck to get and her husband, they seem very much in love.
Surprisingly, what she has worn with and the events she has gone to, her hair down looks good on her. I am sure she will be experimenting with styles now that she is in a new role. She needs to earn your style icon stripes, just because you marry into money and title does not mean you automatically become one, only time will tell.
Yes, I agree even Crown-Princess Victoria or the Queen are role modells, Sofia is lucky. Actually Princess Sofia should do less official engagements, it would be sad if her really fresh look disappears.
Too bad that all of them are marrying commoners; but former Countess Stephanie of Luxembourg is not doing a very good job at all, you hardly ever see her out and about, and she apparently doesn't like the common people.
Sofia's dress has gotten too tight, it doesn't fit very well. Look at the photo showing her back, you can see how tight it is and that it rides up at the waist. She looked so nice in that black dress and in the 1950s' style with the drop shoulders. At least she's trying, guess it takes practice to be a good princess.
Why would a woman born into nobility do any better in a public role than a commoner? That kind of thinking is outdated because people realise it makes no sense.
Princess Madeleine was born into nobility but in recent years we have rarely seen her at solo engagements. She mostly works for the WCF and most of her "work" is "private" and now that she has 2 young kids, then we see her so rarely. As Chris decided to continue to work, earn his own money and keep his family (and he should not be critizised for that as there's nothing wrong with it!!), then this is not helping Madeleine's role as a princess either. But Sofia helps Carl Philip a lot and thats very nice. I'm surprised to say it but I actually like Sofia's style much better than Crown Princess Victoria's!
I don´t agree to this comparison, they style different and they are different personalitys. Princess Victoria dresses like a elderly lady and Sofia trys do the same. Opposite thereto are Princess Mary of Danmark, who dresses like the late Kate Middelton, Queen Letizia, who dresses lately like average, Queen Maxima, who has really her own opulent style (and therefore she is copied), Queen Silvia, who is a absolutly great Lady, ........
As if you do your comparison of mary copying kate middleton when mary is the first to marry in the royal family than your waity katie.Just because every attention is with your waity katie who do nothing doesnt mean mary dresses like waity.
You don't know much about Stephanie and her work! She has not so much media and many magazines to be shown in as Mary and Sofia. And Sofia a Princess? …I think she is acting as was she the Crown Princess!
She likes the attention and loves being a "princess". Not much else under the hat. No real work experience, reality TV and nude modelling. If I were a man, I would like tohave her as a dinner companion.
Perhaps Princess Sofia is use to a work ethic and doing well (as professional Q Maxima, Leticia, Math, CP Mary), and unlike other marry in commoner who never worked and hide away; Princess Sofia continue work/duties for the good of the SRF and people.
Princess Madeline attend duties (the children have nannies); Prince Carl /Princess Sofia is more senior in line and since marriage has step up his duties.
Crown Princess Victoria is so far superior to Sofia Hellquist in everything, except for some clothing. Did you se Victoria's gown at the pre-wedding concert? Wow. Victoria possess a vast amount of knowledge in a multitude of aress, Sofia does not. Sophia is a commoner and still striving to reach the HRH. She has a long way to go. She likes the limelight, often speaks when her husband/boyfriend/ fiance is speaking. Victoria has class, Sophia does not. She maybe cute, however, that does not make her the ideal dinner companion at a Nobel Prize dinner.

ReplyDeleteWow, Sofia attends more events than Madeleine. Seems like she accepted the princess role completely. Royal dress code suits her well.

Unfortunately Princess Madeleine has left her role as royal princess (due to motherhood). So now Sofia is going to be new style icon in Sweden?
ReplyDeletewell, in my opinion Madeleine is the real beuty but Sofia has got the best stylist...
