  1. I love the Queen’s look here; she gets the “less is more“ look so right, so often. I particularly like her hair, which is simply healthily groomed without being overly styled.-Grace

  2. This kind of outfit (blazer and pants) is always discreet, correct and elegant. But I always miss a touch of color or jewelry that adds interest to the look. Most of the time I find it very boring.

    3. I agree as well, a delicate necklace would of been nice. Because everything is dark on her, the first thing my eye was drawn to was the mens shirts.

    4. @Anon 16:56 The way she has styled this outfit draws the attention to her face. The black is like the frame on a painting.

  3. This Mango suit has a perfect fit, and what a nice elegant shoes, much better than the boring high heels. What a shiny natural and healthy looking hair!

  4. Meine Güte, das ist ein Anzug von Mango? An der Königin sieht er super-edel aus, gerade mit den Kittenheel Slings. Ich muß in die Stadt zum Mangostore…

    1. You won't find it in the Mango stores. I noticed that every time a royal and this is not only the case with Mango but also with H & M, Zara, etc...
Each time a queen or princess buys clothes in one of the high street stores, we don't find it there. I think these brands have a pre-collection and the queens and princesses are allowed to choose and to buy first.
When the public can buy these clothes ? I wouldn't know, maybe they are not big collections but just a number of pieces which are sold in no time to the royals and serve as publicity for the brand.

    4. Unfortunately I never buy online. I prefer to try it on before buying. Too complicated to send it back when it doesn't fit. Even with handbag you have to be careful. A family member bought a handbag of Michael Kors online. When she opened the box she found a spot in the leather of the handbag. She sent it back and followed all the procedures to have her money back. The online store who sold it to her wouldn't pay her back at first. They said she could not prove it wasn't her who made the spot. She asked for the same bag but without a spot or a similar one. After more than 15 days they said that none of the bags were still in stock and they still would not pay her back. She wrote a letter to the management of the online shop and promised them that she would go to the police if they didn't pay her back soon. She also said to them that she would take contact with the division of the Ministry of Economic Affairs responsible for treating this kind of complaints by clients who did not received their money back. She received an answer a couple of days later to let her know that the money was on her bank account again. When I hear such stories I prefer not to buy clothes, bags, make-up, perfume, etc... online.

  6. Great. Just needs a strand of pearls or diamond necklace.

    1. Why always repeating the same. You know as well as I that Queen Letizia doesn't wear pearl and diamond necklaces. Occasionally a brooch on one of her lapels, but that is not often the case either.

  7. This suit is beautiful. I love the 'tuxedo' look. It fits Letizia perfectly.
It's affordable Mango but could pass for high end designer. I agree with Odlanor that all black can be boring and it needs something to add contrast. A white camisole would really kick it up a notch. I respect the people that find all black very chic and elegant but everyone has different tastes.

    1. Why would you want to break up the look with a white camisole when all elegant black is obviously the look she is going for. Some just oppose all black, designers design all black because there must be a demand for it and like the Amy Winehouse song goes "back to black".

    2. Oh my goodness, better see if I can cancel my order for my black turtleneck that is coming in today. I do not dare want to be boring. Shame on Queen Mary who wore an all black Tuxedo to the King and Queen awards just recently. I am sorry I just do not get it. Maybe it comes in white. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    3. Fitzhugh-It depends on how you are wearing the black turtleneck. Why return it if it would look great inside a hot pink blazer and matching skirt?
I guarantee it would not be boring.

    4. Anonymous - why do men wear white shirts when they wear tuxedos?
They don't usually wear black shirts inside their blazers because it doesn't look as sharp.

  9. Superbe modèle Mango très bien porté par Letizia mais où le bât blesse, ce sont les chaussures que je trouve trop ouvertes au niveau du talon !

  14. No matter how much some of you LOVE OR LIKE letizia, you should be realistic wit things OR you might not have style, taste yourself???? That it is indeed tooooo much black and a such a necklace - fit for a queen and matching earrings (as Maxima does it) would do the trick!! At least have silver or leopard shoes and not all in black. Letizia your not going to a funeral!!
