  1. Princess Charlenne looks superb, in all senses, but for the dark colour that seems She wears in Her sockets or thights I would have chosen much more clear tone to match with the suit.

  2. Surprisingly elegant everyone! I think they all look great, and my least favourite is actually Charlene with those trousers, both because they are too short and because they are trousers (would have preferred a skirt on her).
Still, a very polished and elegant turnout.

    1. I agree. I'm sort of old school when it comes to church. I think it's better to wear a dress or skirt for the ladies. If it is mass or confession during the middle of the week, who cares? But for a formal, national, type event, no. I also think it's a bit late in the year/season for pastel colors.

    2. WOW so now we define how long ankle lenght slacks are supposed to be also đŸ˜…đŸ€Ł PS if a woman wants to wear pants in church it's her prerogative we don't live in the 50' anymore.

    3. @ Anon "07:15"

I know we don't live in the '50s anymore (thank God - pre civil rights). I mentioned straight away that I'm "old school" which is a choice *just like* women having the right to wear pants whenever they want. I'm not saying I want that taken away. I'm just saying that *for me,* *in my opinion* (which we're still allowed to have on this board) a dress or skirt is more appropriate for the occasion. But, who knows, mayby Char didn't shave her legs. But, OH! Harry legs with a skirt or dress is okay too. ;D

    4. @Anon 18:26 Saying, "maybe Char didn't shave her legs" sounds snarky. You give the impression that you are looking for something to disapprove of.

      Delete
    5. No snark, just sarcasm. I really like Char. I'm really happy that she seems to be really happy now and in a good place. She always seemed so sad to me. I remember watching the wedding and thinking, "This is the saddest royal bride I've ever seen." I almost felt like she was a lamb going up for slaughter.

    4. A classic vintage suit would never be outdated. The rewear we see today should be saluted, not criticised.

    5. If another princess would have worn such a suit she would have received tons of critics.

  7. Lovely colour on Charlene, but I wish, for this occasion, it wasn't a pantsuit. Again Charlotte looks good and all the children is adorable.

  8. I felt todays’s look was an ensemble of two seasons. You have the Spring like lilac, then the Winter black.
This was a custom made ensemble, but it looks like they’ve missed inches off the length of the trouser.I’m puzzled by the black tights and shoes.
A shift dress under the jacket, would have looked lovely.
Princess Gabriella looks as cute as a button in her periwinkle coat and hair accessory. I love how her little shoes carried the same pattern as her coat.
Prince Jacques looked as smart in his uniform,as his father did at his age,and probably his grandfather before that.

  9. Charlene's lavender outfit is beautiful especially the hat, if only it was a dress it would have been more fitting for the occasion. Gabriella is lovely. everybody else looks dull even Beatrice didn't try much this time

  12. Wow. Princess Charlene looks amazing. I must say, it crossed my mind. Is she not as beautiful or even more beautiful as Princess Grace at this age. She has fully accepted her role and she certainly is smiling a lot more. A person can only admire her. This color is very good on her. I wonder what season she is.

    1. You must be kidding. In no way you can compare her to Grace Kelly/Gracia Patricia.

    2. Why even compare Charlene and princess Grace ? They are two completely different personalities with their own fashion style

  13. Ummmmm not sure bout the colour choice since everyone else seems to be wearing darker colours , except Charlotte , but the fit is lovely on P Charlene.

  14. Of the younger generation my pick would be Charlotte whose turquoise Chanel coat is so flattering and perfectly tailored. Pss Charlene’s outfit fits well enough but it’s an odd mismatch of short trousers with dark shoes?Boots? The hat doesn’t seem to belong either. (V.M.)

  17. Magnifique CharlÚne dans cette tenue à la couleur trÚs douce jusque dans son petit bibi bien combinée à sa coiffure ; les jumeaux sont toujours aussi craquants !

  18. Charlene’s updo looks very nice. I’m not crazy about the tiny hat affixed to the side of her head with the long feathers? arrows? on it. Agree with other commenters that a skirt or dress instead of a pantsuit would have been a good choice.

  23. Charlene looks beautiful.I love her hair longer like this so she can pull it back. I hope she does not cut it too short again. The color of her outfit looks great on her. I can not believe how big the children are getting.

  24. Everyone looks nice, well, different degrees of effort. Alexandra's suit is nice. The oversize buttons on Charlene's outfit don't seem right. A darker shade enamel rather than self fabric flower on Charlotte's jacket would have made the outfit sharper. Beatrice in retro makes me smile. Chris L.

  25. Charlene looks beautiful--lavender is a beautiful color on her. Her hair and make-up are perfect. I'm iffy about the fascinator--it looks like a pancake to me. The twins are getting so big but are still adorable. I love Gabriella's outfit. Stephanie looks good but I cannot say the same for Caroline. She looks so sad and mournful--almost tragic. Her outfit is a miss for me. I love Charlotte's blue coat--finally Chanel sent her something pretty to wear. Beatrice looks like a post-WWII elegant lady--her outfit is pretty but a bit on the dull side in terms of color. Alexandra's suit is nice she looks nice. Camille's green coat is a marvelous pop of color in a sea of browns and beiges in the photo she's in and she looks wonderful in this color too.

  26. Positives first:
The twins look fantastic and they’re smiling in most of the photos. 😀 Princess Charlene looks amazing. Love the colour, the updo, the little elegant hat. Like other posters I think a dress would have looked better but still a great look. Beatrice Casiraghi looks as elegant as ever though her outfit lacks colour, Charlotte, another nice coloured jacket. Camille Gottlieb’s coat is a lovely colour though she herself is not looking as trim as she was.
Negatives: Princess Alexandra’s outfit would be perfect for a 1950s schoolmistress. It does her no favours. Princess Caroline looks terrible. I didn’t even recognise her in the first photo she’s in. It’s not her clothes but the straggly hair and worn appearance. She looked so much better the other day.
Great event to cheer up my day.

    2. Princess Alexandra is wearing her grandmother's (Grace) outfit from the same event in 1960. I think that she looks beautiful ad stylish in it. And even the colour belongs to today's trend colours.
It's so lovely to see when the young generation finds quality clothes from the wardrobe.

  27. I like Charlene's pant suit. It fits and I love the lavender color. I do not like the fascinator and the black tights and shoes. Charlotte is looking very good in that turquoise Chanel coat. A pity she always put her nose in the air, doesn't look very sympathetic to me. The other ladies are dressed in outfits I don't like very much. Alexandra is winning the prize for the most ugly outfit. Bad brown color, bad shape, especially the skirt (one could think she is pregnant).
The children : they are looking like 2 dolls. Gabriella's coat is lovely in pale blue. I don't like the white tights nor the bow in her hair. I wonder why Jacques must wear a uniform ? I do not know any other royal family whose young son is wearing a military uniform. In the 15th picture on the balcony they look bored and probably wishing they would be elsewhere. These children are always looking so pale, they should be more outside (with their climate that cannot be a problem) and play like and with other children.
