On September 22, 2024, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the consecration of two new bishops at Uppsala Cathedral. The consecration was conducted by Archbishop Martin Modéus in the presence of the King and Queen, foreign guests, and the bishops of the Church of Sweden. Teresia Derlén was consecrated as bishop of the Diocese of Härnösand, and Ulrica Fritzson as bishop of the Diocese of Skara. Uppsala Cathedral is a church of the Lutheran Church of Sweden and the seat of the Archbishop of Uppsala, the primate of Sweden.
What beautiful vestments. The king and queen are dressed appropriately, I am not sure about the light coloured hat. Perhaps if it had a bit a black somewhere it would tie in better.

La reine, que j'admire pour sa sagesse, devrait opter définitivement pour la coiffure qu'elle affichait le 19 septembre dernier alors qu'elle assistait à une réunion au Palais Bellevue de Berlin. Elle rayonnait et paraissait très jeune avec cette nouvelle coiffure. Lorraine (Rose) - 22 sept. 2024.
ردحذفLa reine Silvia est bien vêtue comme d'habitude mais au niveau du chapeau, je ne suis pas sûre que sa couleur claire convienne bien !
ردحذفThe black suit looks elegant and lovely style. The pearl necklace looks lovely against the black of her jacket, mixed, white and black pearls, they are a generous size and make a good impact. The hat on the other hand I don't like. It doesn't fit in with her black ensemble. Regardless she looks divine.
