The empress looks very elegant, but her eyebrows seem too high...?
ReplyDeleteWith age her face is dropping some like all of us. They were not always that high. But if you google her through the years you can see how her face has softened and dropped. Skin becomes very thin and no fat to help with fullness etc that makes our face fuller. At least the JRF do not inject botox making them look plastic 😉
DeleteToday in Kimono, or regular Western outfits the Empress always is elegant and Graceful.
ReplyDeleteIMO the eyebrows are so high because they have been painted. Her natural eyebrows are lower.
ReplyDeleteI respect and am very pround of Empress Michiko of Japan as a same woman. Her will and legacy will be taken over to Princess Masako, I think.
ReplyDeleteA moment in time, not soon forgotten.
