Remember Diane, you have your friends on here, sending deepest sympathies and condolences ! Horrific events like this, hammer home, the need for a little more tolerance and understanding in the world ! But for now, thoughts and prayers to all those who have and are suffering ! x
This has really hit me hard and I am not sure why exactly beyond just the terrible loss of so many young people. Maybe it's just mixed with all the other evils going on in America with election. I won't go political but just wish we could all get along and stop hating people. It's so ridiculous.
Anyway.. yes this place makes it easier to push it all away for even a minute.
Diane, I agree with you whole-heartedly as a fellow American. I think that this is so impactful because we are watching it pull us apart even further. Too many people are making the conversation about politics, when this should be a time for mourning.
If he gets elected and there is Putin in Russia, whole world has terrible big troubles.
Orlando; so many unneccessary waist young lives. We are schoked here too. Too much hate really in the world today. We should start to be humans to other people.
I think it is wonderful to see that the Duke and Duchess took the time out of their busy day not only to sign the book of condolence, but to engage with the LGBT community. As an American, it is devastating to see that during this election year some people are losing sight of the fact that we need to come together and mourn, rather than allowing our communities to become more fractured than ever. This is a powerful gesture that shows that William and Catherine are cognizant of that.
Terribly sad here in America. So much evil in the world. We all need more prayer - love - and light 💔😢

ReplyDeleteYes, it is good to see them doing the right thing, like the King and Queen of Spain.
DeleteVanessa, where is your comment gone? Is there no democracy and tolerance, even in a fashion blog?
