She is so nice!
ReplyDeleteYes she is..
DeleteShe looks great.
ReplyDeleteLove her blouse.
Marianne
She looks perfect! I hope she will find her way back to style because recently she chose some outfits that were (in my opinion) awful. Of course it's only my opinion but I'm glad she's finding herself in fashion again. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, i hope she is keeping up dressing like this.
DeleteMagnifique!
ReplyDeleteAgree, she is, glad to see her working in her way.
DeleteAll that play-acting is slightly (or not so slightly)ridiculous. True professionals pretending to be given ideas by a lady whose knowledge about journalism wouldn't fill a thimble.
ReplyDeleteI've just saw her on German TV. Well, the blouse is nice , could be Zara, but I bet Haute Couture, we'll see...but the skirt. Too short and all in all to much mixed styles, too much is going on. I don't like her taste in fashion lately. And: Her face is soooo very different. Does that happen after motherhood? Frightening.
DeleteIf you haven't anything nice to say then be quiet. Catherine has an equivalent to a Masters degree and is not stupid. Anyone who uses media or the Internet or is well read can learn how to start a blog.
DeleteShe hasn't indicated that she knows it all. In fact in a video clip she asked many questions. She doesnt need to be a journalist to write a blog.
Always such vile words. Go away
Crawl back into your know it all corner.
LOOOL. Agree...
DeleteTrue
DeleteOh my gosh! All this defenders... It´s embarrassing. How old are you?
DeleteThe criticism is valid and not abusive.
Anon 6:11 & 8:07. And accusing her of play-acting is so mature. . . What's embarrassing is the number of commentors whose insecurity is so great that they feel the need to indulge in so much hateful speculation and outright fiction about their particular royal targets. Sartorial critique is one thing, but the unfounded personal bashing is something else entirely. As we say in the US south - no fetchin' up! Please either grow up or get some counselling!
Delete@Anon 9.10 I agree and that is exactly what I see here daily. PeRonald bashing versus a sartorial critique.
DeleteI can provide a critique when warranted about hair or clothes. But many here go for the brutal blow of something personal. Pure jealousy I suspect.
Something else we say in the South is "Bless their hearts" ~
Anon 7.13 aka chief prosecutor ( further down I am called this. If only I was many would be deleted) lol
I just want to say this. When you have a masters degree or even are doctor it does not mean that you know everything, you have just specialised in one item but that does not mean that you are smart or know everything. Come on, i know dozens of people who are highly educated but are very stupid in lots of things. I wish people stop admiring other people because of their degree, yuk. It's so shortsighted.
DeleteIris February 17, 2016 at 10:53 PM
DeleteGreat post!
Iris, you kinda missed the point.
DeleteAnon 5.44
DeleteYes Iris missed the point as did Anon 11.09..
As I don't feel free to say what I think about "the perfect" Catherine I prefer to say:No comment!
ReplyDeleteAnonymousFebruary 17, 2016 at 6:41 PM
DeleteIsn't that a pity?
But it's the trend in most communities. If you say your opinion which is not mainstream and against somebodies view like chief prosecuter "Anonymous February 17, 2016 at 7:13 PM" you get punished. It's sad.
Chief Prosecutor here. As I said and another person said.... it's the personal bashing that is ridiculous and unwarranted here.
DeleteAgree, thank you Anon 10:50 PM.
DeleteThe Duchess looks wonderful. Great cause and very honored to see her publicly promoting it.
ReplyDeleteLove the hashtag #youngmindsmatter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pity the photos of the Duchess on her website was not placed on this blog. Magnificent, most beautiful photos of the Duchess and children. Jealousy makes you nasty, Sakurahime. The Duchess is perfect, but somebody like you with low self-esteem would not be able to recognize it.
ReplyDeleteLove her outfit. Especially her skirt. Top!
ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely and I'm so glad to see her bringing attention to early intervention for mental health!
ReplyDeleteShe is doing a good job and she is convincingly. All the best to her.
DeleteBlouse is Reiss.

Outfit not bad, but I wouldn't wear this blouse with the skirt. Too much. Skirt too short.
Catherine is beautiful, but its appearance is ma woman over 40 years. Many brands of expression and frown on his face.
ReplyDeleteI still think that Katherine is a very boring royal woman. Ok .. she is a modern young lady but she is also a future queen .... she must be very careful in the way of dressing .... Her skirt is too much short !!! Ιt doesn't fit into her public appearance ...... in fact she will never have the elegance of Diana ............ Diana was simply unique !!!!
ReplyDeleteCHRISTIANNA KONSTANTINIDOUFebruary 17, 2016 at 9:43 PM
DeleteUnfortunately Diana is dead. In hindsight I do not know, if she really was that elegant. I remember some pics she looked very frumpy. But that is not the topic. Kate for my liking looks better in private settings. I look at the current fotos and see a schoolgirl. She sits like someone who feels uncomfortable. And she underlines that with her short girlie-dresses. The hemlines lately have been better. This relapse is too bad - she was on a good way.
I agree with very short clothes. I think Katherine tries to impose its own boundary and behavior in public life and therefore resists actual suggestions how to dress better or be more active. As not being successful, it will end up hurting with royalty and with the public, since it does not have the same charisma of Diana. I like the Princess Sophia of Sweden. Despite its controversial past is working, active, well made-up and dressed, friendly and is getting the admiration of his subjects without overshadowing the minted, which are princesses of birth.
DeletePlease stop comparing her to the late Princess Diana. It has been 18 years. They are two separate people. It is not fair to make such comparisons as to who has charisma and who does not. Diana was from a different era and also was living a hell. She threw herself into her work just to survive. Let her rest in peace. And how wouldo you like to be compared to everyone in your circle? Or out of that circle. It is so grade school behavior.
DeleteYou can't compare her to someone who has been dead for over 20 years, fashion was different then, and by the way Di had her share of short skirt so do the other royal ladys to. Second of all We how lived true the 80' remember a shy, uncomfortable princess Diana who took years to be the person you remenber.

But som of the "new" royal ladys are gonna get a lot of cred from me, we never see them in short skirt. Right over the knee or longer like Mary, Mette-Marit, Maxima and Mathilde.
Elegance of Diana.. fit into her public apperance?? Diana had a posture that make Kate look like a supermodel. She carried her purse the same way Kate does.We can find hundred if not thousand pictures like this of Di. Yes, this is elegance of Diana...

DeleteI still think that Katherine is a very boring royal woman.
I agree with you, she is very boring
I think it is time to stop the comparison between Diana and Catherine. Do you, Christianna Konstantinidou, always wants to be compaired to another person?
ReplyDeleteI really like this process. She has charisma and seems to be curious in everything. The clothes are inspired by the 60 ies. Nice. Love from Stockholm
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't see charisma in Kate-If you are from Sweden I admire Ptincess Victoria,to me she has charisma as well as Queen Silvia and Princess Madeleine.
DeleteAgree.
DeleteI can't see Princess Victoria as charismatic more boring.
DeleteI admire Victoria but she is not someone I would say that 'screams charisma'. She always has a smile but she is very very deliberate in her demeanor and style. She does not take risks with her clothes. Madeline does ....but not Victoria. She is very 'comfortable'. Which is perfect for her. It works for her. This is why we should not compare these women. What works die one does not for the other and if they did try to be the same they would look ridiculous alot!
DeleteYou would never see Victoria playing volleyball . She is not like Catherine ..no comparison.
Victoria is a tad 'tightly wound'? I think she hides well and just needs to let that hair down a bit. She is like theveryone Aunt we all have who just never got to really have fun. It's a pity.
But she is hardworking and will be a wonderful Queen to the Swedish people. But she doesn't make me run out and buy a magazine. Madeline does...Sofia does...I have wondered if Victoria has felt that she is not quite the pretty one when she was growing up...ergo the eating disorder?
As I said....she is a hard worker.. good wife it appears and she has the most delightful daughter in Estelle. Brava
love the whole outfit she really did a great job
ReplyDeleteDuchess was at Kensington Palace. She was not on public appearance. She can wear short skirts, she has the legs for it. The comments complaining on the length of the skirt possibly have tree stumps for legs. Stop comparing Duchess with Princess Diana. They are different people from a different era. The Duchess looks brilliant in the photographs. She has a young fresh appearance in the photographs. How dare people comment on her integrity and character!!!!!! You don't know her. Your are not related to her and neither are you God or a spiritual god to judge her. These bad mouth people must go and do charity work in a cancer hospice. Maybe then you might get a positive outlook on life. Your are a bunch of hypocrites and awful people.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you 2:38 PM
Deleteand
I agree with young minds matter.
Agree!!
DeleteAnonymous February 18, 2016 at 2:38 PM
DeleteYour sermon is a bit exaggerated,!
I have no tree stumps, I am no overweight person etc, the same height than Kate and play in her Beauty-liga, but I go to the office in appropriate clothes and not in mini skirts. Simply to underline my professional standing. This is no place for mini skirts.
Next engegement:24 February
ReplyDelete(A lot of work!!!)
And so do Mary she had her last on febuary the 4, the next on the 25. And she is worshipped as a great worker. Do you see the difference?
DeleteAnonymous February 19, 2016 at 9:17 AM
DeleteI did not say I am a Mary's fan!
Of course everybody but you see the difference. Are to you trying to say that Kate Middleton works as hard as Mary of Denmark? For your information Kate is the least working european royal. Nobody compares to her, sorry.
DeleteI'm thinking, and I could be wrong, that at sometime she must have been told to lose some weight, because it seems after George she went stick thin, and then all the bother about her hair, and now it's colored very dark, and has been cut, I hope not because off all the outcry about her long hair. It seems she is stretched thin trying to please so many to fit into this 'role' when she is trying to raise two young children. I am thrilled she came out for mental health awareness. She looks elegant, but to me, it's sad she is so thin. She was an athletic healthy woman when she was her natural self, now it's gone.
