Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge guest edits The Huffington Post

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge launches a story on 'Early Intervention in Mental Health Care' watched by James Martin (Executive Editor Huff Post UK) and Steven Hull (Editor in Chief Huff Post UK) on the Huffington Post landing page in the 'News Room' at Kensington Palace on February 17, 2016 in London, England. (The Duchess sat down to a morning editorial conference at Kensington Palace with Huffington Post UK editor-in-chief Stephen Hull, journalists and leaders from some of Britain's leading mental health charities to launch Young Minds Matter, a series focusing on children's mental health. The Duchess has helped commission articles, blogs and videos to raise awareness about the psychological wellbeing of the nation's children for the series.)

She looks perfect! I hope she will find her way back to style because recently she chose some outfits that were (in my opinion) awful. Of course it's only my opinion but I'm glad she's finding herself in fashion again. :)

I've just saw her on German TV. Well, the blouse is nice , could be Zara, but I bet Haute Couture, we'll see...but the skirt. Too short and all in all to much mixed styles, too much is going on. I don't like her taste in fashion lately. And: Her face is soooo very different. Does that happen after motherhood? Frightening.

If you haven't anything nice to say then be quiet. Catherine has an equivalent to a Masters degree and is not stupid. Anyone who uses media or the Internet or is well read can learn how to start a blog.

She hasn't indicated that she knows it all. In fact in a video clip she asked many questions. She doesnt need to be a journalist to write a blog.

Always such vile words. Go away

Anon 6:11 & 8:07. And accusing her of play-acting is so mature. . . What's embarrassing is the number of commentors whose insecurity is so great that they feel the need to indulge in so much hateful speculation and outright fiction about their particular royal targets. Sartorial critique is one thing, but the unfounded personal bashing is something else entirely. As we say in the US south - no fetchin' up! Please either grow up or get some counselling!

@Anon 9.10 I agree and that is exactly what I see here daily. PeRonald bashing versus a sartorial critique.

I can provide a critique when warranted about hair or clothes. But many here go for the brutal blow of something personal. Pure jealousy I suspect.

Something else we say in the South is "Bless their hearts" ~

    8. I just want to say this. When you have a masters degree or even are doctor it does not mean that you know everything, you have just specialised in one item but that does not mean that you are smart or know everything. Come on, i know dozens of people who are highly educated but are very stupid in lots of things. I wish people stop admiring other people because of their degree, yuk. It's so shortsighted.

Her skirt is too much short !!! Ιt doesn't fit into her public appearance ...... in fact she will never have the elegance of Diana ............ Diana was simply unique !!!!

Unfortunately Diana is dead. In hindsight I do not know, if she really was that elegant. I remember some pics she looked very frumpy. But that is not the topic. Kate for my liking looks better in private settings. I look at the current fotos and see a schoolgirl. She sits like someone who feels uncomfortable. And she underlines that with her short girlie-dresses. The hemlines lately have been better. This relapse is too bad - she was on a good way.

    2. Anonymous18/2/16 00:56

I agree with very short clothes. I think Katherine tries to impose its own boundary and behavior in public life and therefore resists actual suggestions how to dress better or be more active. As not being successful, it will end up hurting with royalty and with the public, since it does not have the same charisma of Diana. I like the Princess Sophia of Sweden. Despite its controversial past is working, active, well made-up and dressed, friendly and is getting the admiration of his subjects without overshadowing the minted, which are princesses of birth.

Please stop comparing her to the late Princess Diana. It has been 18 years. They are two separate people. It is not fair to make such comparisons as to who has charisma and who does not. Diana was from a different era and also was living a hell. She threw herself into her work just to survive. Let her rest in peace. And how wouldo you like to be compared to everyone in your circle? Or out of that circle. It is so grade school behavior.

    4. Anonymous18/2/16 07:19

You can't compare her to someone who has been dead for over 20 years, fashion was different then, and by the way Di had her share of short skirt so do the other royal ladys to. Second of all We how lived true the 80' remember a shy, uncomfortable princess Diana who took years to be the person you remenber.

I admire Victoria but she is not someone I would say that 'screams charisma'. She always has a smile but she is very very deliberate in her demeanor and style. She does not take risks with her clothes. Madeline does ....but not Victoria. She is very 'comfortable'. Which is perfect for her. It works for her. This is why we should not compare these women. What works die one does not for the other and if they did try to be the same they would look ridiculous alot!

You would never see Victoria playing volleyball . She is not like Catherine ..no comparison.

Victoria is a tad 'tightly wound'? I think she hides well and just needs to let that hair down a bit. She is like theveryone Aunt we all have who just never got to really have fun. It's a pity.

But she is hardworking and will be a wonderful Queen to the Swedish people. But she doesn't make me run out and buy a magazine. Madeline does...Sofia does...I have wondered if Victoria has felt that she is not quite the pretty one when she was growing up...ergo the eating disorder?

As I said....she is a hard worker.. good wife it appears and she has the most delightful daughter in Estelle. Brava

Duchess was at Kensington Palace. She was not on public appearance. She can wear short skirts, she has the legs for it. The comments complaining on the length of the skirt possibly have tree stumps for legs. Stop comparing Duchess with Princess Diana. They are different people from a different era. The Duchess looks brilliant in the photographs. She has a young fresh appearance in the photographs. How dare people comment on her integrity and character!!!!!! You don't know her. Your are not related to her and neither are you God or a spiritual god to judge her. These bad mouth people must go and do charity work in a cancer hospice. Maybe then you might get a positive outlook on life. Your are a bunch of hypocrites and awful people.

  19. I'm thinking, and I could be wrong, that at sometime she must have been told to lose some weight, because it seems after George she went stick thin, and then all the bother about her hair, and now it's colored very dark, and has been cut, I hope not because off all the outcry about her long hair. It seems she is stretched thin trying to please so many to fit into this 'role' when she is trying to raise two young children. I am thrilled she came out for mental health awareness. She looks elegant, but to me, it's sad she is so thin. She was an athletic healthy woman when she was her natural self, now it's gone.
