You never give a straight compliment to the Swedish princesses (or any other royal else for that matter) -- you always have to qualify your compliment by making a comparison with Duchess Kate. It is obvious that for you, Duchess Kate is THE royal of greatest interest; but I doubt that the Duchess is the be-all and end-all of royals for the majority of royal followers worldwide. I see no need for her to be mentioned in every single discussion. Give it a rest!

DeleteMarried couple never sit together. This is old custom rules for everyone, even us on how to place people at a tabel at a formal dinner/wedding.
DeleteAccording to tradition (Swedish?) married couples are sat apart during dinners. This is to include everyone in talks around the table, people that know each other very well tend to talk more about internal stuff.

Princess Madeline was knock out beauty -- it was such a surprise to see her wearing the Aquamarine Kokoshnik and she looked amazing. That tiara is so unique and beautiful and is worthy of using. I also loved Madeline´s earrings and gown (the gown complimented the tiara so well).
