Either he has changed a lot in the past 6months or these are not really pictures of Prince George. The hair is very different, suddenly he has golden wavy hair when all his other photos show mousey brown straight hair.
My sons all developed curls as they got older. When they were small babies it was straight but as the hair began to fill in it became curly. Kate has curly hair, why not George? My oldest ended up using a flat iron to achieve his favorite looks (much to my husband's dismay). The other two keep their hair short. George's curls are cute.
