Beautiful pictures of a happy family. I don't really like the colours of the clothes of the girls, but that's just about personal taste.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, it's Amalia instead of Amelia, and Ariane instead of Ariana. ;-)
It us Amalia and Ariana :)
DeleteNo, it's Ariane ;-)
DeleteLovely family, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteMaxima is beautiful and her hubby is pretty attractive too. The best part is they seem to be genuinely loving towards each other and the girls are cuties too.
I visited Amsterdam last year and they LOVE neon & bright colors. It wasn't even summer (I live in the US and I think summer is the only time that neons are "in" and maybe only the past 2 years). They wore everything in neon: skirts, tights, coat+ jackets, etc. I had to bring a store catalog to show my sister.
We came back with the idea neon is a very dutch thing + their national color is that bright/neon orange (especially seen during soccer games) ;D
Haha, nice to hear how you experienced the Netherlands! I'm Dutch, and don't like neon colors at all... But maybe I'm an exception, it's indeed kind of normal here in the Netherlands to wear lots of bright colors...
DeleteYes Eva, we came back with that idea of associating everything neon with Amsterdam :p :)
DeleteIt was a lovely experience... then we went wild when President Obama visited the Rijksmuseum Museum - after we had just been there :p - and loved the movie THE FAULT IN THE STARS because it took us back to those days :)
Hopefully we get to visit in a couple of years, we loved it!
(and we missed out on riding bikes, we were impressed by the traffic + speed. We even stopped at a crossroads to film and photograph some of the action. Many riders had their small children on the bikes too! :O :D lol )
Haha, very funny to hear!
DeleteWhen you come back, you should visit the south of the Netherlands ('Zeeland'), at the coast, very beautiful, and a little more quite, so you can see the other side of the Netherlands (where the wholesale, big 'neon-colored' stuff isn't that common)! Just a place to charge up after a buzy period (and very much possibilties to make wonderful trips with the bike, haha ;-)... ).
Thank you for the advice, Eva. I have relayed the message to the hubby and he is happy to hear I'm thinking about the next trip :D
DeleteMerry Christmas!
